In this ever changing world it's refreshing to experience the superior talent and upbeat sensation of Bernie Chiaravalle's new release " Life As We Know It". Two years in the making since his first solo album in 1996, " Driven By Desire".
His impeccable love for music started his curiosity at the age of six. He soon began singing tunes from his parents record collection and oddly enough developed a love for the drums and in later years the guitar.
This C.D. shows his sensitive side through his years on the road and life itself. " Life As We Know It", cut #4 " You Alone" & #6 " Where 'You Runnin", gives you some soul searching lyrics of who you are, where you're headed and the truth which lies within. Chiaravalle's smooth vocal texture with former Doobie Brothers solo performer Michael McDonald's strong back-up vocals complete the song.
" My Only Chance" & ("Then Again Maybe Not" seems to have a little of the "Beatles" influence with blended harmonies featuring Jon Goodwin).
Bernie Chiaravalle, lead guitarist for Michael McDonald/Producer and solo artist opened his versatile side on, "Only So Much", which shows a more rock edge giving him the freedom to express his musical ability with some intricate guitar parts. A guitarist at heart, he proved to be a prolific singer and emotional songwriter. Bernie didn't stop there performing all musical parts in several songs. Some friends from the music biz added their creativity, including band member Chaz Frichtel.
People relate to different songs for different reasons or circumstances in their life. This album has real emotion and much to offer for anyone's musical taste, and most of all has the feeling that in todayâs society music seems to lack.
