From The Artist:
This recording provides a collection of the Artists' favorite music of the Christmas season. These versatile performers combine voice, piano and organ to perform an eclectic collection of seasonal favorites in ways not often heard. Barbara Eckhaus, soprano, holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Arts Degree from Ball State University. She began her performing career in 1967 and has been soloist with chamber orchestras, choral societies and the North Carolina Symphony. She performs on concert series and in solo recitals throughout New England. She has a voice studio in Derry, NH. Wm. C. mcCullough, organist, earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Westminstier College and continued his studies at the New England Conservatory. He has been organist/director of music in churches throughout the eastern United States and has given organ recitals from Maine to Iowa. George Loring, pianist, holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music with additional degree study in Vocal Accompaniment. A cum laude graduate of Harvard College, he is currently and Artist-in-Residence for the Music Department at Keene State College, where he teaches Applied Piano, Class Piano, and Music Theory and directs the Accompanying program.
